FlightWay vs Flight Circle
The clearest difference between these two is not a feature. It is that one of them will tell you the price before you talk to somebody, and that the other one syncs your books to QuickBooks rather than keeping them.

What Flight Circle publishes
Flight Circle's site advertises aircraft scheduling and management, billing and point of sale, card and ACH payments including tap, dip, swipe and Apple Pay, self-pay and automatic recurring charges, calendar sync, and QuickBooks Sync. It offers a 60-day free trial. It does not publish a price.
The feature list is broad and the scheduling side is mature. If a published price is not something your board cares about, that is a real product with real clubs on it.
QuickBooks Sync, and what a sync costs you
A sync means the club runs two systems that each hold a version of the truth, plus a job that tries to keep them agreeing. It works until it does not, and when it does not, somebody has to decide which system is right. That somebody is a volunteer treasurer, usually in the week the statements are late.
It also means the club still pays for QuickBooks, still has to understand QuickBooks, and still hands the next treasurer two logins and a set of workarounds instead of one auditable history.
FlightWay does not sync. The entry that billed the flight is the entry the balance sheet is built from, because it is the same row in the same ledger. What that means in practice.

Which club should choose which
Flight Circle fits if
You run a flight school as well as a club, you need point of sale at a counter, or your accountant insists the books stay in QuickBooks and you are happy to keep paying for it.
FlightWay fits if
You want the price before the conversation, you want one system rather than a sync, and the person doing the reconciling is a member with a day job.
How much does Flight Circle cost?
Flight Circle does not publish pricing on its website; it offers a 60-day free trial and asks you to get in touch. Checked 18 August 2026. FlightWay publishes its full price list: $69 a month for up to two aircraft, $10 a month for each aircraft after that, 10% off paid yearly.
Does FlightWay integrate with QuickBooks?
No, and that is deliberate. FlightWay keeps the books itself as an append-only double-entry ledger and exports the full journal, every entry and every line, in a format any accountant or system can read. A club that wants QuickBooks to stay the system of record is better served by a platform that syncs to it.
Can we move our data from Flight Circle?
Yes. Roster, aircraft, meters, hours, squawks and the forward schedule come across free, with your existing scheduler kept live and synced during the changeover. Accounting history is a separate quoted job.
