FlightWay vs AircraftClubs
AircraftClubs is the closest of the incumbents to FlightWay in shape: club-focused, per aircraft, and honest enough to put the price on the website. The difference is what happens to the accounts.

What AircraftClubs costs
Its pricing page lists three plans: Idle and Half-Throttle at $12 per aircraft per month, and Full-Throttle at $18 per aircraft per month, for the first six aircraft, with a volume discount after that. Instructors and equipment are $6 per month each on all plans. Full-Throttle is the plan that lists accounting, and it lists an integration with QuickBooks.

Where the two diverge
AircraftClubs is cheaper per aircraft, and for a club with a handful of aeroplanes and no instructors on the books it will stay cheaper. It also lists an accounting module and a QuickBooks integration on its top plan, so it is not fair to say the category ignores the treasurer entirely.
The distinction FlightWay draws is between having accounting features and being the club’s books. In FlightWay the ledger is the primary record: append-only, double entry, with corrections made as reversing entries, and every statement, balance and report derived from it rather than stored alongside it. If a club’s aim is to stop running QuickBooks, that is the property that matters, and it is worth asking any vendor to demonstrate it on a live account rather than a feature list.

Is AircraftClubs cheaper than FlightWay?
For most fleets, yes, on sticker price. Full-Throttle at $18 per aircraft per month is $54 a month for three aircraft against FlightWay at $79, before AircraftClubs’ $6 per instructor or item of equipment. Checked 18 August 2026.
Does AircraftClubs do accounting?
Its top plan, Full-Throttle, lists accounting among its features and lists an integration with QuickBooks. Whether that is the club’s system of record or a feed into one is a question worth asking them directly.
What does FlightWay add for the difference?
The club’s books as the primary record, unlimited instructors, free migration of the schedule and flight history, and live ADS-B position for the club’s aircraft.
Worth a switch?
If the club is happy with its scheduler and its books, it probably is not. If the treasurer is reconciling two systems every month, tell us about it and we will be straight with you about whether we help.
