FlightWay vs Coflyt
Coflyt publishes its prices, which is rarer in this category than it should be, so this comparison can be specific on both sides.

What Coflyt costs
Coflyt publishes three plans on its pricing page, with a 30-day free trial. A club needs at least Plus, because scheduling and flight billing start there, and because the base plan is a single seat.

Coflyt is cheaper at every fleet size in this table. That is the honest starting point of this comparison.
So why would a club pay more?
Because of what happens after the flight is billed. Coflyt's published material describes creating charges for flight time and monthly costs, collecting payments to a central account and tracking group expenses. Read across the pricing page and the payments page and there is no general ledger, chart of accounts, balance sheet or journal entry described.
That is a reasonable place for a product to stop. It just means the club’s books are still somewhere else, which in practice is QuickBooks plus a spreadsheet plus the treasurer’s memory, and the reconciliation between them is a monthly job that falls on a volunteer.
FlightWay posts every charge, payment, credit, refund and expense as a balanced journal entry as it happens, and builds the balance sheet, profit and loss and A/R aging from those same entries. There is no export step and no second system to disagree with. How the books work.

Where Coflyt has something we do not, it says so. A comparison table that is green all the way down is not worth reading.
The second price, the one nobody compares
Beyond the subscription there is what a platform takes from the money passing through it. FlightWay takes nothing: no percentage of collections, no per-statement fee, no per-payment fee. Payments run through the club's own Stripe account into the club's own bank account, so Stripe's fee is the only one charged, and the club decides whether to absorb it or pass it on.
Coflyt does not publish a figure for this. Its payments page describes collecting payments to a central account, and its payments announcement describes members paying by credit or debit card. Neither states a processing fee, and neither mentions bank transfer. Both were read on 18 August 2026.
That matters because the two rails cost very different amounts. On a $2,000 statement, Stripe caps an ACH debit at $5 while a card runs about $58. Over a year of club statements that gap is usually larger than the difference in subscription price this page opened with. Ask them, in writing, what they take from collected payments and whether members can pay by bank transfer.
Which club should choose which
Coflyt fits if
You want the lowest monthly cost, your accounting already lives somewhere you are happy with, or you are a single owner or a small partnership rather than a club with a treasurer and a set of accounts.
FlightWay fits if
A volunteer treasurer is reconciling a scheduler against QuickBooks every month, or the club is paying for an accounting subscription it would rather not need, or the handover between treasurers keeps losing history.
Moving from Coflyt

Is FlightWay cheaper than Coflyt?
No. For a three-aircraft club, Coflyt Plus is $63 a month against FlightWay at $79 a month, checked on 18 August 2026. FlightWay costs more and includes the club’s double-entry accounts, which Coflyt’s published material does not describe.
Does Coflyt do accounting?

Do we have to pay per member on either?
Coflyt’s base plan is a single seat, so a club needs Plus, which includes unlimited seats. FlightWay includes unlimited members on every plan and prices only by aircraft.
Can we try FlightWay for 30 days like Coflyt?
There is no time-limited trial. There is a published price, a month-to-month subscription with no contract, and a free migration, so the cost of finding out is one month. We would rather walk you through the running app than have you evaluate it alone against a clock.
